Frequently Asked Questions
What is your process to prepair and service you equipment?
Each machine goes through an extensive reconditioning process that includescleaning, rebuilding, detailing, inspecting, and final certification. All worn parts are replaced with brand-new OEM or equivalent parts (including but not limited to the replacement of the belts and deck).
First, our certified technicians diagnose each unit to identify any and all issues. The unit is then air blown, cleaned and disinfected. At this point, all parts are repaired, replaced, and detailed based on each specific need. The unit is then re-assembled, tested vigorously, and then is ready for a new home.
We are proud to supply our customers with the very best reconditioned fitness equipment at the lowest possible prices. If you are purchasing reconditioned equipment, please note that even though we bring our equipment up to the highest possible standards during our reconditioning process, it is not brand-new and may have minor cosmetic flaws. We assure you that all key components have been tested and are in 100% working order.

What is commercial fitness equipment?
Commercial fitness equipment is used in commercial gyms, fitness centers, physical therapy clinics, hotels, and other non-residential settings. Commercial fitness equipment is built stronger to handle frequent and heavy use. Commercial-grade frames are made from higher quality steel, and moving parts are designed to handle frequent use. All this gives commercial machines a different feel and better results than residential fitness equipment.
What is the primary difference between residential and commercial fitness equipment?
The difference is durability. All commercial models are built with stronger and more resistant parts that can handle up to 150 hours a week of use while residential models are built to run 150 hours a year.
Does the age of a piece of fitness equipment really matter?
The age of a piece of fitness equipment matters if the equipment has not been maintained or refurbished properly. Most pre-owned strength and cardio pieces work as well and sometimes better than new equipment. Our equipment mostly comes from maintenance/lease programs were they have been in preventative maintenance programs and have received ever part and service required on a quarterly basis.
Which piece of cardio equipment offers the most effective workout?
While the elliptical is "hot" cardio machine lately, the cardio equipment that gives the most effective workout is the one you enjoy the most. Because the more you like it, the more you’ll use it.
As it becomes more difficult to maintain a fit physique, choose cardio equipment that causes less impact. It’s safer to use and easier on your joints. These cardio machines include ellipticals, recumbent exercise bikes, upright bikes, steppers, and rowers.
